As a professional translator you

• are a native speaker of the language(s) you translate into
• have sound knowledge of your source language(s)
• have at some point in your career been a full-time translator for at least two consecutive years
• possess significant translating experience in one or more fields of expertise
• are established preferably in the country of your working language
• are conscientious about meeting delivery deadlines
• are completely fluent in word processing, RTF, etc.
• have a good internet connectivity (E-mail, FTP etc.)
• are familiar with translators' tools available on the WWW and with searching the web for additional information
• and last but not least, take pride in your work.
